Former Miss Teen World 2019 Zury Ruiz has been appointed as the new Miss Eco Aruba to represent Aruba in Miss Eco International in Egypt
The Miss Eco Aruba organization headed by Vicky Zimmerman hosted its coronation night a few hours ago where Zury Ruiz was crowned as Miss Eco Aruba 2021-2022.
The 19-year-old freelance model will compete against 55 contestants from all over the world to continue promoting and raise awareness about the environment and eco-tourism.
Zury, student of the Process and Food Technology (Chemical Engineering) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) in the Netherlands, is a strong contender.
She won her first international pageant “International Queen of the Seas and Tourism” at the age of 15 in Costa Rica and later won the title of Miss Teen World 2019 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The 7th edition of Miss Eco International will take place on March 14, 2022 at the Jolie Ville Resort & SPA Kings Island Luxor in the city of Luxor, Egypt.
